Brandon Palmore & Matt Kite Win the James River, VA June 13, 2026. 19.35 lbs!

Next James River CATT is July 25th at Osborne!

Last Saturday was our 4th event of the season and as always, you ladies and gentlemen showcased the James River with some solid bags and some decent sized bass you brought across the scales. We had 52 teams come out to compete with 28 entered into the $50 Side Pot. The weather wasn’t bad, but she definitely got hot on us. Without further or do!

CONGRATULATIONS TO Brandon Palmore and Matt Kite for winning the event with 19.35lbs with a 4.86lbs James River toad!!! They said they burned A TANK OF GAS Matt’s way of saying it 😂 but most of their action came early but died off as the tide changed and the day progressed but sounds like Brandon hooked up to the right few to help their bag. Solid performance on a tough James River fellas! 💪 🔨 🍾🏆

In 2nd place with 16.27lbs was Brian Bersikand Bobby Kennedy and their weight was backed by a 5.73lbs slobber knocker of a bass!!! Congratulations fellas on a good day’s work on the river. I apologize I didn’t get an interview; this is my first time doing this but maybe next derby morning we can catch up and get a video fellas. Thank you both for coming out and competing!

In 3rd place with 16.02lbs was the team of Tyler Colgin and Marshall Johnsonb stepped in for Daniel. Their weight was secured with the events Big Fish weighing in at 7.02lbs….it had some eyeballs 👀!!! These fellas also took home 1st in the $50 Dollar Side Pot sweetening their purse even further! They said they headed to the Chick and went to work on getting their limit and securing the above accolades. Solid work fellas!!!

In 4th with 15.36lbs was JC Condrey and Jimmy Condrey! Their weight was anchored by a 4.63lbs tank! Well done gentlemen 🫡

5th place with 15.35lbs was Bradon Coffey and Bubba Whitehurst! Their weight was anchored by a 4.56lbs stud largemouth!! Congratulations fellas!!! YEE-YEE!!!!

6th place with 15.25lbs was Sam Pollock and Richard Williams whose weight was secured with a 4.08lbs beaut!!! These fellas also took home 2nd in the $50 Dollar Side Pot!!! Congrats gentlemen!

7th place with 15.22lbs was our 2025 Points Champions and hands down the most dominant Father Son team on the James Ryan Drewery and Wayne Drewery! They also took home the final spot in the $50 Dollar Side Pot! Solid consistent performance guys!

8th place with 15.18lbs was The Jay Griffin and Dustin Burket! Good job guys!

9th place with 15.03lbs secured with a solid 3.58lber was Jacob Moore and @Tommy Hauser! Badass last name might I add sir! Congrats guys!

10th place with 14.92lbs was Michael Mccrikard and our events cameraman Paul Harris !!! Thank you, Paul, for pulling up clutch for me!

These were the events placers, and I will be doing a live later this week to go over a few things that came up this event, and I want everyone on the same page as me. This event went flawlessly aside from my few errors here and there, but you all were GOLDEN and I love you all for all the support and love returned to my staff, our sponsors, and myself. I was told this morning by one of our sponsors who happened to be at the NHL finals game that our division came up, and we got a ton of praise. I said this is thanks to you all, my staff who busted their asses each and every event for me, our incredible sponsors, and myself for the weight I pull in this all.
