These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of cattteamtrail.com (the “Site”) and the purchase of tournament entry fees and related products or services offered through the Site. By using the Site and/or purchasing an entry, you agree to these Terms.

The country of origin of all products on this website is "United States of America".

If you do not agree, do not use the Site or purchase an entry.

2) Eligibility

By using the Site, you represent that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and capable of entering into a binding agreement. If you are purchasing on behalf of a team, club, organization, or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

3) Purchases and Payments

When you purchase a tournament entry fee through the Site:

  • You agree to provide accurate billing and contact information.
  • All payments are processed through third-party payment processors (for example, Stripe) and may be subject to their terms and conditions.
  • Prices, fees, and availability may change at any time prior to purchase confirmation.
  • A purchase is not final until payment is successfully processed and you receive confirmation.

4) Tournament Rules and Compliance

Purchasing an entry fee does not guarantee eligibility to participate. Participation is subject to compliance with tournament rules, verification of registration details, and any requirements stated for that specific event (including, without limitation, deadlines, team composition, and waivers).

Tournament rules and event details may be posted on the Site or communicated via email and may be updated from time to time. It is your responsibility to review and understand the rules applicable to your event.

5) Refunds, Cancellations, Transfers, and Chargebacks

Refund Policy:

  • Refunds are allowed if a refund request is received by 11:59 PM (local time) the night before the event date.
  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected] and should include the purchaser name, event name/date, and the email used at checkout.
  • Approved refunds are issued back to the original payment method whenever possible. Refund processing times may vary depending on your bank/payment provider.

After the Deadline:

  • Requests received after 11:59 PM (local time) the night before the event are not eligible for a refund.
  • No-shows are not eligible for a refund.

Transfers/Credits (Optional):

We may, in our discretion, allow a transfer of an entry or a credit toward a future event. Any such transfer or credit must be requested before the refund deadline above and may be subject to administrative requirements or fees.

Chargebacks:

If you initiate a chargeback without contacting us first to attempt resolution, we may suspend your ability to register for future events and/or dispute the chargeback using our records, including proof of purchase and our posted refund policy.

6) Event Changes, Weather, and Safety

Tournaments are outdoor events and may be affected by weather, water conditions, equipment issues, venue restrictions, or safety concerns. We reserve the right to modify dates, times, locations, formats, payout structures, rules, and/or event operations for any reason, including safety or circumstances beyond our control.

If an event proceeds as scheduled (including with reasonable modifications), entry fees may remain non-refundable after the refund deadline. If we cancel an event entirely, we may offer a refund or an alternative remedy (such as a transfer or credit), at our discretion.

7) Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability

By purchasing an entry and/or participating in an event, you acknowledge that competitive fishing and boating involve inherent risks, including serious injury, property damage, or death. You voluntarily assume all risks related to participation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree that CATT Team Trail and its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, sponsors, affiliates, and agents will not be liable for any claims arising from participation, except where prohibited by law.

You are solely responsible for maintaining appropriate insurance (including boat and liability insurance, if applicable), ensuring your equipment is safe and compliant, and following all laws and tournament rules.

8) Participant Conduct

You agree to behave responsibly and respectfully. We may refuse participation or remove any participant (without refund) for:

  • Cheating or rule violations
  • Unsafe behavior
  • Harassment, threats, or misconduct
  • Damage to property
  • Behavior that harms the event, participants, sponsors, or reputation of the organization
