Last Saturday Sept 27th was our final regular season event. We had 42 teams come out to compete and 24 entered the optional $50 Side Pot.

The weather was hard on everyone yesterday morning with a few sessions of heavy rain, but a window opened up that allowed us to take teams at the trailer and blast everyone off safely with about an hour of calm seas before the rain front moved in. Teams reported some mild wind and heavy rain periods, but I had faith when I left it to him, and everyone did their jobs. God is great gang!

We also are crowning a new Team Points Champions! Ryan Drewery and his dad Wayne Drewery put an insane season together only having one event outside 100 points total. They had 2 wins and nearly had 3 this season!!! Guys y’all are hammers but credit to Jared Williams and Guy Fairweather for bringing y’all’s absolute best out this year. Jared and Guy stayed hit on their trail and also had an insane season stringing together checks at every event minus 1. It was a blast to watch y’all battle it out this season!!!

CONGRATULATIONS TO Tim Chaffin & Kurt Poggenpohl!!!!! They took home 1st🥇 place honors and 1st in the $50 Side Pot!!! Strong work guys! Our 2025 Team of the year showing they’re coming in next year strong 💪.

1st Place with 18.80 lbs is Tim Chaffin & Kurt Poggenpohl. Their weight was anchored by a 5.49 lb stud. They also took home 1st Place honors in the optional $50 Side Pot. As always, a strong team and a solid performance fellas!!! Total payday – $2,205.00!

In 2nd Place with 17.84 lbs is Tripp Mistr & Morgan Mistr. They also took home the tournaments Big Fish honors with a 7.31lbs tank. Hands down the toughest Father-Daughter team in the state of Virginia, congratulations ma’am and sir! They collected $1,185.00!

In 3rd Place with 17.77 lbs is Ryan & Wayne Drewery. Their weight was anchored by a solid 4.15lbs largemouth bass. They also took home 2nd Place honors in the optional $50 Side Pot. These guys put in work this year. Congratulations, solid season fellas!

In 4th Place with 17.71 lbs anchored by a 4.97 lb stud is Jacob Kupselaitus  & Joseph Kupselaitus! They also took home 3rd Place honors in the optional $50 Side Pot. Strong work 💪 fellas!!!

In 5th Place with 17.33 lbs is Richard Bates & Greg Sakimura Their big fish weighed in at 3.85 lbs. Solid work guys, congratulations!

In 6th Place with 17.17 lbs is Charlie Ippolito & Jacob Novak! Their big fish weighed in at 5.17 lbs!!! Congratulations guys!

In 7th Place with 16.54lbs is Sam Pollock! His weight was secured with a 4.50lbs stud largemouth! Congratulations bro!

In 8th Place with 15.42 lbs is the Father-Son team of Ronnie Baker & Harrison Baker! Their weight was secured by a ton of rain and laughs 😂. Thank you, guys, for coming out ❤️!

I say it a ton but thank you all for another amazing season. Each year is different, and you all always show up and show out the James and Chickahominy River. I’ve witnessed some amazing moments over the past few years, and this has become a thing for us we look forward to so again thank you all for accepting my family and myself to runs these events with the help of some really good friends.
