Next and last Fall Qualifier for the Tidewater Division is Nov 11 at the Pasquotank River – City Ramp!
Wow what a beautiful day to be outside and on the water fishing! However the the bass didn‘t get the memo that it was a good day to cooperate. It turned into another tough fall fishing tournament day with low weights and many anglers struggling to bring in a limit. When the scales closed and the weights were tallied the team of Brian Cooper and Heath Parker took home the win with a total weight of 14.85 lbs which included the two biggest fish of the tournament weighing 5.01lbs and 3.93lbs. There efforts earned them a total payday of $1610!! The team of Gary Debrito and Derek Goodman weighed 12.95 lbs for second place and once again proved that they are one of the most consistent teams on the Albemarle rivers. The team of Matt Greschak and Ricky Hodges came in a close third with 11.34 lbs. The last paying place was the team of Mike and Ray Layton with 10.16 lbs. Its still a little early but its looking like it’s gonna be a tight race for anglers of the year between the teams of Debrito-Goodman and Greschak-Hodges with Mike Layton right there waiting for one of those teams to slip. www.cattteamtrail.com.
