The CATT Tidewater Division’s fall final went off this morning on the Perquimans River. It’s hard to believe I’m going to type this, but it was 65 degrees with calm winds at blast off. Yes 65 degrees on December 2nd at 7am!! Even with the warm temps and slick calm conditions most of the top finishing teams chose to stay in the Perquimans River with a heavy fog bank reported on the Albemarle sound.

Leading the way in that category was the team of Matt Greschak and Ricky Hodges who brought in a 16.54lb limit to secure the victory and take home $1800 in winnings! Matt and Ricky had strung together a very consistent third place finish in all three previous tournaments but got it done today with the win!!

The second-place team of Joe Glazebrook and Jeremy Gatewood captured and held hostage a 5 fish limit weighing 15.45 lbs just long enough to secure a second-place finish worth $800. There bag was anchored by the second biggest fish of the day weighing 5.10 lbs

The team of Jordan Sanderlin and Andrew George weighed in a 15.39 lb limit to finish in a very close third place.

Rick Plemons rounded out our money winners with the big fish of the tournament weighing 5.11lbs.

We appreciate each and every team that came out to fish with us this fall and look forward to seeing you in March for the spring trail.
